omg PAUL
omg paul was perfect this episode ;____;
he is seriously such an underrated actor
his acting as both evil!stefan and perfectbf!stefan were so on point, but I like him as the ripper because it showcases his talents. It is very difficult to play an evil character with vulnerability but I think he was AMAZING on TVD during the bridge scene. His voice broke when he said “I dont care what you think anymore, Elena” and OMG MY HEART :(
I read something about Stefan acting like that to get her to hate him, because in his mind, Elena would never have him back once he left with Klaus. Poor guy. I want happiness for him soo bad, and even though sometimes I feel like sometimes she doesnt deserve him, I dont think he will ever love somebody as much as he loved Elena.
Actually, the same goes for Elena. It’s obvious her and Damon will eventually get together, but I cant see them in it for the long haul. I also hate the way the writers have been handling Damon’s situation. I wish he felt more remorse for the kiss, because WTF bro, no poon is worth your ACTUAL BRO. Even if they did end up together, I can’t imagine them staying together forever - she has too much dirt on him. For example, if Damon gets angry at her, for, say, forgetting to pick up his drycleaning, Elena could always counter with “no, damon…you dont have the right to get mad at me because… remember the time… you killed my brother?” And he’d be like “oop my bad” and be stuck wearing dirty clothes for the day
But other than that bridge scene, I didnt really like this episode. It was pretty lackluster, along with last week’s. Right now I’m watching for Stefan, Caroline, and the Originals (ELIJAH AND REBEKAH, COME BACK TO ME) because Damon and Elena (actually, mostly just Elena) have been pissing me off.
Why the fuck would you get Damon to compel your brother again? Because it totally didnt backfire the last time you did it, right? Last episode, Stefan confronted Klaus about him compelling Stefan to do his bidding. Stefan basically told Klaus that “friends dont mess with each others’ minds” but apparently Elena didnt get the memo? I’m not sure if she thinks these things dont apply to her, or if her selective memory (see last post) prevents her from learning from her past mistakes. Whatever the reason, I’m glad Bonnie told her off.
Oh, another thing I did like about the episode was the Matt and Elena bonding. I think they’re pretty good for each other. Matt is super grounded and Elena seems to smile a lot when she’s around him. Maybe they should just say “lol fuck u” to the vampire crap and join Jeremy and run away to Denver (because apparently no vampires exist there).
OH YEAH, another thing. WTF Klaroline. There was soo much sexual tension during that scene but I felt uncomfortable because I felt as if Klaus was just using Caroline as a way of venting his sexual frustration with Stefan (Klefan OTP). I hope Caroline’s not dumb enough to fall for his swag. *swoon*. *_*
